I've tried a new beta in Samplitude 10 pro and seems it works until I haven't changed the current cursor position. After that I got dead silence. When I saved a song and reopened Samp - everything was o.k. ( till I change the c c pos. again )
I'm pretty new in Samp 10 pro ( I'm testing it for WSM ) so I can't tell you if that is a Samp or Jamstix problem.
otherwise it works well in Cubase SE 3. |
I have it working great in Samplitude 10.02, but haven't noticed any dead zones after moving the cursor. I will keep testing it, as I am a Samplitude beta tester - so my job is to attempt to 'break' things in Samplitude before they do a release.
So far jamstix integrated with dfhSuperior inside Samplitude is powerful, but a little convoluted to get setup properly. _________________ Samplitude Pro 11.03 (or latest beta)

Hi SBliss
Seems everything works o.k. when I export J2 midi to Samp.
That silence happened when I used new beta of Jamstix together with subhostet SR 202 and Samp 10.02.

I don't have dbf, but I presume it's the same with other subhosted drum modules or samplers. Can you explain how to setup this properly? As I said, I'm pretty new in Samp and maybe I'm doing something on irregular way.
Cheers

I've had basic success just pointing one of the channels to jamstix2 and then loading dfhS from inside Jamstix. However, dfhS window does not show, and no new channels are added (nor is there a popup window asking if you want to add channels).
Right click at the bottom of the mixer and point the MIDI output to Jamstix and it should work from there.
Not sure how to get the dfhS window to popup.
The next test will be to load dfhS separately using the Jamstix mapping, and send the MIDI output from Jamstix to dfhS.
