Hello, I'm new to Jamstix so forgive me if I'm saying known things.

Great and well conceived piece of software, having real fun with it.

But... I found that if you tweak the value of the hihats double stroke knob in a part, move to another part then go back to the first part, the hihat double stroke knob is set to the same value as the tom double stroke knob.

Using Jamstix 2.1.4 on SONAR 7.0.2 - Windows XP SP2.

The part that has this problem is an "Intro" part, if this makes any difference. Hope it can easily reproduced and fixed, this is rather annoying in my workflow..

Other two little issues:

- How to revert a part to "no drummer"? Maybe setting the "Style/Drummer" balance slider all towards style (but the Drummer name is never deleted in the part)?

- I have had an unreproducible Crash in SONAR, I was tweaking drummers and reading the pdf manual, then SONAR produced several - dozens - errors in jamstix2.dll, cannot read memory at "0x00000038" or similar. After responding to all error dialogs SONAR vanished to desktop. Maybe a user.dmp of the crash was produced, I should check. Let me know if it can be useful for you.

Thanks,
Mario

We'll check out the hihat knob behavior.

You can revert a part to no style or no drummer by loading the style or drummer 'Silent'.

If you have a crash log of the Sonar crash, please send it to us for review.

We're hoping to have a beta of the next update within the next few weeks.

I can confirm the hihat double stroke knob refresh bug and this will be fixed in the next update. Thanks for the catch!

Hello, has the user.dmp file been useful for you?

The crash dump indicated a buffer overrun but did not have enough info to nail it down. We will have 2.2 Beta 4 later today. Please try that beta as it fixes various issues.
