|
|
We are pleased to announce that Jamstix 2.1.4 is now available. This update provides several fixes, workflow enhancements, revision control (UNDO) as well as support for the upcoming MetalPak.
The update is now available on your personal download page.
Here is a summary of all changes since 2.1:
- added 'Add Tom Groove' to the brain menu, which allows adding an accentuated 16th tom rhythm with a variety of options
- bar editor limb menu 'Clear Entire Limb' is now available per bar, part or the whole song
- added ability to store up to ten revisions for easy undo, manually or via auto-save feature
- added 'Control Only Current Part' option to brain menu. If unchecked, MIDI controllers affect all parts that have appropriate mappings, not just the current part
- removed JS1 sound references from several kits and fixed incorrect kick drum reference in one kit
- added new options to 'Copy' submenu of the part menu that allow propagating the style or drummer of a part to all other parts of the song
- fixed some subhosted drum modules playing with wrong pitch if project sample frequency is not 44.1 kHz
- routing sounds to 'All' now randomly selects new sounds
- jamstix2.ini file now supports HiHatController=x setting in subhost sections so that sound modules that use a MIDI controller other than 4 for hihat openness can be supported.
- when saving a part, the default filename is automatically set to the name of the part
- improved scaling of brain bitmap backgrounds
- JS2 will now automatically use CC4 continuous hihat control with DFHS and EZDrummer without ini entry
- the cell editor and the bar editor drag&drop functions are now consistently blocked if the bar is locked
- various modifications to support MetalPak
- improved CC4 behavior for e-drumsets and internal sounds

It's been a while. Can you remind me how to get to my "personal download page"?
Thanks,

Thanks to all of you at Rayzoon... I just got my hand on maybe the most wonderfull software for drums tracks...
Coupled with BFD, it blow heads off...lol. It may look a bit intimidating, or complicated at first, but if you are willing to spend a few hours working on it, you will be largely rewarded...
For all who doubt about it, let me tell you wont regret your purchase. I am using it in mostly Jazz/Funk/Fusion setup and after a few session, i am having very good results...
Well done Rayzoon... |

No need to install previous updates. They are always accumulative. _________________ Ralph Zeuner
