Heard someone on the Sonar forums mention he used it about a year ago. I checked out his song and became very curious. Finally bought it a few months ago and am glad I did.

I've heard of JS on cubase.net in a forum concerning to Groove Agent. There was an user writing 'bout the good sound and support of JS so I tried it out and bought it a week later.

And while GA-Users are still waiting for GA3 I'm happily producing tracks with JS. Each time the discussion inside the GA-forum gets to the point how bad the information about GA is, I'm writing a post about the very good service of JS and the enhanced capacities JS has in comparision with GA.

hhsoullover: you have a job to do over at cubase.net...somebody is complaining about the new GA3...so it seems it's your new job to bring him here and away of this GA-Crap Wink

ralph: what a good marketing-strategy from you. make us happy like we are and we all go out and tell the whole world about your baby....that's the way it should work!

question: have you ever heard somebody saying he's in love with GA? nonono...but you will hear me: I LOOOOOVE JAMSTIX! Wink

nice weekend to all jammers and jammesses (the ladies)

Hello everyone...

I found out about Jamstix in the Reaper forum. At first I figured it was 'just another drum program', but after seeing the number of people using it and the positive comments, I figured I would take a look at it.

I was thoroughly blown away. I have been using BFD and love it, but the programming 'detail' work was consuming alot of time. My main instrument is guitar, but I love drums and rhythm stuff, I can see where this program will give me the results I want and save me some time. *Bonus*

Needless to say, I bought a license for Jamstix 2XL a couple of days ago (haven't had much time to 'play with it' yet) and have had my head stuck in the manual ever since. I'm sure I'll have questions, so I'll be around.

Peace.

Just as I was set to leap off from Cakewalk forums to TruePiano.com to purchase a license someone posted a notice about a Jamstix (ver 1) group buy which included a TruePiano discount coupon. That timing could not have been more perfect. Jamstix is by far my favorite plug-in and True Piano is liquid sweet. Hope this helps.

FWIW-Just today someone heard a track I did with Jamstix and was so impressed with what JS2 does he's going to build a new DAW this weekend just so he can get JS2.

JS2 is so good, it sells itself. Leonard

I heard about it through a Cubase forum. It was part of a discussion about the 'best' drum VST.

I visited the sites for all of the products mentioned, EZdrummer, Addictive Drums, BFD, Groove Agent, Power Kits and the bluenoise site and was impressed by several of them but JS was by far the most innovative.

I also spent some time reading this forum to get a flavour of what the support is like and what problems people may be having; the chap who mentioned it on the Cubase forum had said that the support here was second to none.

I was particularly impressed by the trouble taken to sort out a chap who'd laid down a guitar track but couldn't get JS to work for him. That level of support was what clinched it for me.

All I'm waiting for now is the download link to arrive and I'll be joining this happy band of jammers.

I read about it in the Sonar Forums. I was actually going to buy Cakewalk's Session Drummer and was looking for user opinions. Thank god I didn't make that mistake...Jamstix 2 is alot closer to a real session drummer than Cakewalk's midi loop player.

I read a review in sound on sound of jamstix1 fortuitously the day after my groove agent vst decieded it wasn't going to play drums anymore, for reasons best known to it's self. I downloaded the demo of JS1 bought it that same day and haven't used any other drum vst since except JS2 of course. Very Happy

I am ashamed to say that I got a crappy old pirate version off Bubba Zennetti which totally blew me away. I couldn't believe how good the program was!! It was version 1 and had bad sync and all, I had to record midi off JS to get it to play in time.

I must say that some of my favorite plugs I have heard were initially from cracked copies, in Australia software is really expensive and there's not much of a community where you can hear stuff before you buy it.

I join with everyone else to say I think Ralph is a genius and a good bloke!

I saw it on KVR and decided to try out the demo. It was the holiday sale and the cross-product discount with TruePianos that convinced me to do it.

I was in the process of ordering TruePianos and noticed they had a cross-promotion with Rayzoon which discounted TP by $51. Prior to seeing that promo on their site, I had not heard of Jamstix.
