I have been piecing together a song in Sonar 6 with JS2 parts I've created from scratch. I have Sonar set up to give me 4 count-in ticks of the metronome during both recording and playback.

So last night I load Revalver MK II in an audio track and record a guitar track while my JS2 is just playing the parts. The JS2 parts have not been recorded. Anyway, when I play it back, the guitar audio starts immediately while the JS2 parts wait for the 4 count-in ticks to play first. So, the guitar track is playing a bar before the JS2.

Is this because I didn't record the JS2? I'm just playing the JS2 parts. I didn't get a chance to try it because it was late.

Thanks.

Dave

Watch the bar/beta counters in Sonar and JS2. If they do not match then you need to add the appropriate offset in the JS2 Options page.

I'll look into that Ralph. Thanks for the tip. I really love the new Metal Pak by the way.
