I just purchased JamstixXL and recieved the email with the download link and the License Key. I went to the site and downloaded the program, the kits and the update. All downloaded to my computer OK, but I have no start icon and in the "Start Programs" menu, all that is in the Jamstix folder is the PDF manual Crying or Very sad . Nowhere did anything ever ask me for my License Key either. Can anyone please help me Question . I emailed tech support but have not recieved any reply yet.

Thanks,
Duane

Hello Duane and Welcome!

Jamstix is not a standalone program, you need a host to use it (like Cubase, Sonar, Pro-tools, etc). Once you run it from one of those, then you'll be asked for the license key and be able to use it.

Hope this helps!
Willy.

Duane, I've sent two e-mails. Have you gotten any of them?

Ralph, no I haven't received any e-mails from you. I even checked my spam filter and there were none there either. My address is [deleted to avoid pick up by spammers]

Willy, I didn't know that. But I can't seem to get it into Sonar either Crying or Very sad . I'm using Home Studio 6XL.

Bear with me guys

Duane

Duane, do you have an alternate e-mail? If so, please send it to me at support.

Concerning HS6: did you make sure Jamstix 2 is in the search path of HS? I'm not familar with HS but in Sonar you have a plugin manager that needs to be told where to look for plugins.

Once it finds it, you can use Jamstix via the synth rack (not sure of it's the same in HS).
