For those still on the fence about Jamstix 2: Computer Music #120 has a two page review on it and gave it a 9 out of 10 and awards for 'Innovation' and 'Performance'. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

Is there a link to the article online?
(not that I'm on the fence... been a JS user since v1, but would be interested to see what they wrote)

+1 to what Stesgarbi said.
I keep finding new things in JS2 every time. I can't imagine why it wouldn't earn that one extra point! |

I believe they subtracted a point since JS2 is PC only. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

You mean there is something else besides PC? JK... Hopefully, they understand why. The PC market seems pretty big now with the home recording people. I almost switched to mac at one point until I realized what I would be paying for their hardware vs what I could build as a PC. _________________ Straight Jacket Sunday, Multiple Personality Disorder coming soon... |

I'm not on the fence either (I bought JS2 already ) but I too would be interested in reading the review. Does anyone have a link to this?
Thanks! _________________ Alexis

I just contacted Computer Music and suggested an updated review. I figure that the better Jamstix does the more time its developers will be able to spend increasing the content of Jamcussion.
Here's their contact addy
contact@myfavouritemagazines.co.uk
and I put Computer Music in the subject field. |
