There is an anime called Death Note, and on the soundtrack is a song called Jiken, which I just adore!!! (insert buttsecks icon here)
Anyway, I wanted to do something similar, just for shits and giggles, and here it is. It is missing bass, I didn't get round to recording bass for it yet.
Drums are Jamstix2. The pretty mediocre guitar tones provided by the line-out of a Vox Valvetronix, yay! Lets all hate on the Valvetronix amps!

Nice beats. JS rules
Distorted guitar riff sound isn't bad at all to my taste.
Keep posting.

I use Vox Tonelab SE, and i have been very satisfied with it. It has exactly same processing engine, as your Valvetronics.(I think) There is few tricks tough.
1 forget factory presets
2 Back off with tone knob of your guitar, to find sweet spot.
3 Attenuate heavily highs above 4-8Khz depending on sound.
4 forget high gain sounds. If you need massive distortion, use pedals in front of it.
5 Boutiqe clean is about best all rounder of models. Even for distorted sounds. And off course Vox models are awesome.
Experiment with cabs and pedals(Models) there.
You cant hide "sound of your fingers" with Vox modelling amps. That is actually beauty of them.
My efforts made with VOX Tonelab can be found at:
