In Cubase 4 if I load the MetalPak Multi FX Patches I don't get the full sounds, just bass drum. I'm a bit new to Cubase 4, so is there something I need to do differently to enable multiple outs from Jamstix2.
Also, I have crashed a few times since I've loaded MetalPak...seems to happen when I am adjusting the Groove Complexity. |

Make sure your Jamstix screen shows version 2.1.4 in the top right corner. If you still experience a crash, send me the file rzdlog.txt from the Jamstix 2 folder right away and a quick description of what you did last before the crash.
The missing sounds are because Cubase 4 (unlike SX3) defaults to just the first audio output of any VSTi. The kit you loaded uses multiple outputs. Use the 'E' in the instrument rack to instruct C4 to use the additional outputs. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

I checked and do have 2.1.4 installed.
Not exactly sure how to add more vst instrument outputs in Cubase 4, but I'll look around the manuals and Cubase forum...at least to me it doesn't seem intuitive to add in more outputs.
Will send you the log if crashes happen again. |
