When deleting notes I noticed that since the delete button is at the top of the window it's a bit jarring to have to pass over the various sounds before getting to the delete button.

At least for me I think it would be more efficient to have the delete button on the bottom, because if I'm going to delete I don't need to be able to choose any other options.

Another way around it is top have the delete button at the top and bottom.

Any thoughts?

I completely agree. I don't know if it possible but I would love to be able to just press "delete" or some other key (combination even) on the keyboard, cause it takes too long time deleting a note + you get all the crash, boom, bang every time you cross all the drums on the way to the delete button.

Quickest way to delete a note is to drag an empty cell onto it in the bar editor.

Suggestion for users:

When deleting or choosing a new hit in the bar editor, my fast, loose mouse movements would cause Jamstix to sound like it was throwing the whole drumset down some stairs. I disliked having to wade through this cacophony just to tell the drummer what to play.

To change this setting, click Options and then deselect where it says "Auto Audit Sounds".
