sorry to bring bad news, but Groove Agent demo runs just fine, regardless of internal sounds or DFHS via external MIDI, PDC or not.
Using the exact LoopError.cpr I sent you, just added GA and bypassed JS.
Hope you'll work out something for this in the future !
Kind regards,

Just to make sure: you were using GA to drive DFHS via MIDI-Out and did have the UAD chain in the snare of DFHS and had the whole thing looped. Correct?
Also, could you send an MP3 of what the Jamstix issues sounds like to support@rayzoon.com?

Hi Ralph,
yes, tried GA both with onboard and DFHS sounds, UAD plugs enabled or not - no problems.
Just to make sure to clarify - the problem is NOT the UAD plugins on the outputs of DFHS per se, the exact same thing happens with NO DSP plugs in the drum signal path at all, but on one of the outputs of Kontakt for example, or on a vocal track.
As soon as SX is using PDC in a major way, things start to get strange.
This means, atm it's either use JS in real time in SX or use my cards, that's why I'm so interested in a solution.
BTW, you should be able to simulate this behaviour in SX without a DSP card, check in your SX plugin information window for plugs that have to use delay compensation (SIR comes to mind as well as many limiters ) and put some of them in series, you can do the math exactly depending on your "delayed" plugin since the plugin information reports the latency of each plug in samples.
You'll get an mp3 of the loop tonight.
Thanks for your patience with this issue,
Rhino |

Could you do this?
- add the line: Logging=1 to the [General] section of your jamstix.ini
- reload the project and let Jamstix run a few times across the "hump"
- send us 'rzdlog.txt' from the Jamstix folder, which will contain debug info for that session
Btw, I can't find any plugin in my arsenal (with PDC) that produces this behavior for me here. Do you know of any other than UAD?

I don't know why it doesn't seem to work with normal plugs, it was worth a try.
You'll get the logfile in about 10 minutes.
Cheers,
Rhino

I completely understand and this is certainly a Jamstix issue we'd like to fix. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

Also, during the "bad" bar, does the beat display in Jamstix seem off-timing? _________________ Ralph Zeuner
