Lovin' it
But, I can't audition the kit sounds. They light up but no sound!!!
Probably a "Code 18" (older newbie here).

I'm running the lastest Reaper version 2.010 and I have no problem hearing the drums by either clicking on them on the photograph of the kit or in the drum selection menus. I like how you can click at various points on that velocity icon to hear them at differently sampled velocity levels.
I've switched from Sonar to Reaper (working with VSTi instruments), and I'm really impressed so far. Bought Reaper the same day I bought Jamstix2 XL actually. They get along fine for me. |

try checking the routing of the kit, if it's in more than stereo (2-channels) and you don't have the track in Reaper set up for that, you will only hear the pieces that are routed to these 2 channels (ie kick).
and yea jamstix and reaper make a great couple |

Thanks, Og & DrJ!
I found it works if the project is playing, but not if JS is muted (makeing it pretty much usless).
DrJ, I'm outputing JS to 8 tracks, I'll keep on digging.

[deleted my old incorrect post]
Make sure you have "Run FX when stopped" ticked in Preferences>Audio>Playback
that should fix it
