Just installed Jamstix 2 along with the kits.

Any time I load a Kit, and have it "jamming with midi input" there is no sound, but I can see the kit units "light up".

Then when I click the dice, I can hear things.

What's up with that?

What is your host and are you using a Quickstart song?

Sonar 7 PE.

Yes, I'm using a Quickstart "song"--Rock, as I recall.

I actually tried with some other "songs", though--same thing. No sound until I click the dice.

That is very odd. Please repeat the problem with Quickstart Rock and let Sonar run without sound until bar 10 or so and then hit the dice and let it run for another 10 bars with sound. After that, please send me the file rzdlog.txt from your Jamstix 2 folder.

I've got your log and it shows you're running version 2.0 (you can see the version also in the right top corner). Please update to 2.1 and see if the problem remains.
