| fit like! a couple of months ago i bought a carillon audio pc.on it was the SE jamstix free.having enjoyed trying a few things out i decided to upgrade to the full version.i paid and downloaded it frm rayzoon.i thought i was getting the extra sonds etc that i cldnt acess on the SE version.to my surprise i received jamstix 2.this was all good.but to cut a long story short.i cant get any sound out of jamstix 2 but can still get sounds on SE jamstix.i have read the mauual which dosnt cover all the topics the previous SE manual did.being new to using computers to record music i havnt got a clue why i cant get a sound out of version 2.i do remember b4 downloading jamstix 2 it said to remove the demo program b4 installing.cld that be the problem?anyway any help wld be welcome. |

Hi Ronnie, make sure you installed the JS2 stock kit via the 'Install Pak' button in the kit window.

Many thanks for reply. tried what you said but got error message- INSTALLATION error/cant load file c/jamstix etc please contact rayzoon support etc! |

You must load the file "jamstix2_stock_kit.rxp2". If you still get the error, please tell me the exact error message, exactly as it appears or send me a screenshot.

this is the error message- Cannot open file C:\Program Files\Steinberg\vstPlugins\Jamstix\jamstix2_ Stock_kit.rxp2  |

That is very odd. You are not typing in the file name, right? You are actually selecting the file in the open dialog with the mouse, correct?

mmm I AM typing in the file name and NOT selecting with mouse. cld it be that ive allready loaded the js2 kits because i can see kits available to load in ther kit list. |

The kits will show regardless of whether the sounds are installed.
The problem is that you don't have the stock kit file on your PC. You cannot type the name in manually unless the file actually exists. Please do this:
1) download 'jamstix2_ stock_kit.zip' from Step 3 (Download Stock Kit) of your delivery mail
2) Unzip the file to a folder of your choice
3) Use 'Install Pak', browse to the folder of your choice and double-click the file 'jamstix2_ Stock_kit.rxp2'
