I've got all the JS1 packs - drumpack 1 and 2, and the snarepack. Is the XL pack worth getting? $50 seems reasonable, I've only got $25 right now, but I was wondering if I should even bother with XL or use the $25 I have and put it in for the BVC studio devil amp sim, which sounds killer.
Thoughts? |

Amberience, if you got both Drumpak 1 and 2 and Snarepak from JS 1 then you already nearly own everything of JS 2 XL. There´s only the Brushpak and the Epak missing.
If you don´t have use for that you don´t need XL. |

Snarepack and Drumpack 2 are my favorites. You can ignore the brushpack if you don't need the jazzier stuff. I prefer the rods and CS options in DP#2 anyway. |

Brushpack is awesome for laidback and/or acoustic tunes too (country, pop, whatever)! It's not just a jazz pack! I realy love the feel and ambience of the brushpak.
I think I will buy the snare pak soon: it's very important (or should I say: the most important) for the overall feel of a song and I've been wanting more for some time now: I've already made a few tunes that could use another snare. I guess the snare pak is just what I need.
(I presume it's still possible to buy the snare pak by buying the XL pak and requesting a refund for what's paid too much, Ralph?) |

| Oh ok! So I've got most of it. I don't really want the brush pack, was more interested in the rock kits. But I probably already got 'em! |

Let's just check if I got this right:
Are the JS2 drumkits the same as JS1?
(If they are, I won't need XL too, since I've got the JS1 packs I need. However if the JS2 kits have e.g. more sample layers or better quality somehow, I want the new stuff) |

The only difference is that JS2 has got the new stock kit. The paks are the same. |
