i create a 4 bar intro and then an eight bar verse part, and everything is perfect, however when i try to create the next part for the chorus, there is no drumming happening. this third part just doesn't have any drumming for some reason, and theres nothing in the grid.

i know this will be easily fixed so i am not to concerned,

also can i ask, you know the power knob (the main one by the unlock and skipt to beginning buttons. can it be assigned a value per part? eg. the verse being a low overall power but then as the chorus kicks in it ramps up?

this is a really great program, i know i keep saying it but the more i use it the more i appreciate it and i only bought it last night!! it has made me addicted to writing songs again, and that that is priceless. and considering it only cost 70 quid....ShockedShocked

Have you chosen a style and drummer for your third part?

yeah it came out as default with the style used before as well as the drummer, but i also reselected them by their menu to make sure.

also do you have any answer for the power knob changing each part question?

i tried again and everything worked out fine,

im very sorry for being an annoyance.

i also realized the power knob is an automation option in cubase too, which basically answers both my qutestions and makes this thread pointless.

im sorry. Embarassed

Please do a 'Save Song' via the song menu and send me the file for review.

The easiest way to do this is via VST automation or a mapped MIDI controller. Are you familiar with either of these and what is your host?
