Hi everyone, I'm new to Jamstix and after hearing very positive things about it I decided I would go ahead and DL the demo last night. I'm really enjoying it and am pretty sure I'm gonna go ahead and buy the full version but I'm having quite a major problem. Just today my computer has crashed and restarted 5 times when I've been using Jamstix within my Cubase SL3. All the crashes have happened when Jamstix has been playing rhythms etc. It's done it when I've had other soundfonts loaded and when no other soundfonts/vsti's have been loaded. I'm not sure if this is a Cubase SL3 issue, a demo issue or what. I really hope someone can help me out though cos I'm absoloutely loving the program apart from this one problem. Many thanks in advance for any help. Smile

Sorry about those crashes! Since you downloaded the demo last night I am sure it is version 1.1 but could you double-check that in the ABOUT tab?

Here's something else you can do to help us research this:

Add the line:

Logging=1

to the [General] section of your jamstix.ini file (in the Jamstix folder)

and restart Jamstix. This will write debug information to a file called 'rzdlog.txt' in the Jamstix folder. After a crash, please send us that file to support@rayzoon.com.

Hi Zauni, yes I downloaded the 1.1 version Smile Earlier on, after posting this, I had a session with no crashes - I simply put playback on Cubase in a cycle/loop. I'm not sure if this is the problem but it seems whenever I just let it keep playing it tends to crash. I've had the same problem with Reason Adapted when using Rewire too. I'll see how things go for the next day or so and if I get more crashes I'll be sure to follow your debug instructions. Many thanks. Smile
