Hi there

This is quite tricky as I dont know what exactly triggered it. However while messing around with my song the snare sound was suddenly missing, but only in the basic groove. When ever there was a fill including the snare it sounded fine. Looking at the groove/bar designer I could still see icons for the snare, and moving the cursor above it also triggered its sample.

Then I messed around a bit more and suddenly only the percussion player was left in the basic groove. Only the fills were fine.

The "messing around" I've done includes: Shifting from player "Roger" to "John" (after shortly having a bit fun with "Animal"). Also tweeking the brain settings a bit. Inserted a new part, while keeping the length of the song (I shortned another part). Also... I shifted skin from JS2 classic to simple and back again and I think that that actually the snares disappeared after shifting to simple skin. But of course I cant prove that

I know this might not be very helpfull information, but as I said - I really dont know how it happened. However - I hope somebody could get a clue about what I've done wrong or what to do about it...

I found a saved edition of the song (that is the JS song-file) and loaded that. It didn't change anything. Still only fills and percussion are played, so it must be some strange setting in JS.

Icons for snare, kick etc. is there in the bar-designer, but they're just not played - only in fills.

What is wrong?

Sounds as if the power knob is low. Move it up to restore full grooves.

sweet That was it... It actually took me a while to discover that there was a global powerknob there. Wonder how I managed to turn it down without seeing it
