When I enable the force hit (clicking on the tick until there is a red rectangle) the kick just sounds the same... I understood it should be louder...? The silence option works as it should.

In some styles the forced hit will give you a kick/crash in others it's a snare/crash or a hihat combo. Try it on a syncopated tick to hear the difference better. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

I doesn´t seem to work to me as well, forced hits don´t produce any accent with any style.

I think some of the quickstart songs don't have them. We'll have to fix that. But if you manually load a style (let's say Custom Rock) and then go to the Accent tab you'll see 'Hits'. That's the amount controller for the hits and setting a hit does produce sound for me here. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

I did what you told us, but it didn´t work. It did once, after I moved the hits slider, but then I added another forced hit and it did not play.

Make sure the accent tab has a 'Hits' slider that is at max. Otherwise choose a different style. Click a tick in the bar editor until it has a red square around it. Now watch the accent tab and you should see kick/crash or snare/crash combos being added to those ticks. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

Thanks, Ralph.
I got it. Because I use my own midi files it would be nice to have this feature with the import style.
BTW: Congrats for your vst. I was an owner from the beginning, but had some issues using it efficently in the beginning.
In Version 2 arranging is very cool and the timing seems to be much more solid(is that possible or is it just my new DAW/PC). |

I'll see what we can do about that.

The host synch logic in Jamstix 2 is very different from Jamstix 1. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

As I'm also only working with imported midi files I wanted to say that it would be cool if all features like this one would work like in the other styles, if it isn't the case already.

You can also drag to the Windows Explorer instead of the host to get a MID file. _________________ Ralph Zeuner
