I will probably seem like an idiot here, but why does the description of the the 6/8th rock style read like this:

Quote:
This style is a general-purpose 6/8 rock feel with a steady snare on the 6th eighth

when it produces a patern like this:

Is there not a kick on the 6th eighth Embarassed

Maybe you simply need to set your host to 6/8?

6/8 has a 2/4 feel with triplets on each beat, so what JS2 shows is 6 eigth notes with an accent on the 1st and 4th which is exactly correct. Get it?

Thanks for the info. I do understand the 6/8 beat (after I set Cubase correctly that is, and used Google), but I just couldnt't get the 'a steady snare on the 6th eighth'. I think that I misread the explanation, I took it literally in some way.
