In manual jam, I fooled around with the "16th before" kick setting, probability to 100%, velocity cranked up. I record Jamstix in Cubase with "Midi-Out Only".
I get all kicks recorded, but the velocity of the "16th before" kicks is very low, at about 22, where I expected 127.

That's a feature. Jamstix adjusts the velocity to avoid the 'machine gun' kick syndrome since Jamstix models single-pedal only. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

Good, as I want "natural" sounding drums. But then the velocity setting (right mouse) has no effect ?

Not until you remove the kick that follows a 16th later. |
