there's a cool snare fill called "bare snare" in JS1 that includes a rim shot that doesn't get "translated" in JS2. it sounds more like a roll in JS2.
I want to use this fill with a kit in JS2 but with the rim shot too.
what happened to the rim shot portion of the fill in JS2? |

Hi politcat
I have just tried the "bare snare" in Jamstix 1, and it does not play a stick in the fill in my set up. it actually plays the roll.
I wonder why that is?
You could always record the midi then edit it.

The rimshot in JS1 was not programmed into the fill but added by the JS1 brain on the fly based on snare hit density. This is not present in JS2 but may be added in the future. For now just manually set one of the snares to rimshot as desired in the bar editor. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

easy enuf too. thx!
I really like the control we now have over fills. Huge improvement while still being able to import JS1 fills. |
