I'm starting to get the hang of js2, but some aspects I had control of in js1 - I don't have anymore, especially in live performance.
First of all I can't get my midi controller sliders to control the selected parameters. I'm using Cantabile as my host.
Secondly, with js1, I was able to use the midi contoller at about half way to adjust Reduction on the fly, whch would either make the snare play only on beat 4 rather than 2 and 4, minimize further (around 3/4) by playing only the bass drum and hi hats, or, the last position very quietly playing the hi hats.
Is there some provision for this in js2? |

I'll see if we can add 'Reduction' level control via VST automation to the next update.
What trouble do you have with MIDI controller mappings exactly? Do you right-click on a control and select a controller number but the controllers from the host don't have any effect? If so, stop play and move the controller on the host end (envelope or hardware) and watch the MIDI input LED in JS2. It should light up when it receives the controller messages. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

What function did you map to which MIDI controller? _________________ Ralph Zeuner

| snare complexity, snare bias, and power hand. Are the sliders supposed to move? hey don't and no change in the rhythm happens. |

Let's use one example:
- right-click on 'Power Hand' slider
- move your controller and make sure the proper number is selected in the right panel of the mapper. If not, select it by hand
- also, moving your controller must make the green MIDI In LED at the song sheet light up or you are having a MIDI routing issue _________________ Ralph Zeuner
