If HALion Player is slected as a hosted DLL, if you then try to select a new DLL then Jamstix and host (Repear 1.888 and Tracktion 3) just disappear entirely.

Try 'Remove' in JS2 first to clear the DLL and then 'Select DLL' to load a new one.

I tried that and the same thing happens. It doesn't worry me too much as I don't particularly like HALion Player and I'm playing with other instruments instead.

Does it crash when you remove the HALion player?

Yes it does it whether I click the Remove button or just choose another DLL. This is also regardless of whether or not I have any samples loaded.

I looked in the log file and that doesn't get completed, it just stops half way through a line. I loaded it all up again, loaded HALion Player, assigned a few instruments and then removed HALion Player with the usual result. The end of the log file is as follows:

<25.2> Scan sounds: 0/68
<26.4> Loading sound "Snare - 13'' JS2 Craviotto CS"...
<26.5> Successfully loaded [TEMP]
<29.9> Loading sound "Snare - 13'' JS2 Craviotto"...

i.e. it stops halfway through line commencing <88.5>

I've had numerous instances of Halion Player not playing nice with other applications (including Cubase 3.1 and 4, which one would expect to be a gimme). JS plays nice with almost everything. Who do you think is the problem? Laughing
