OK, so I've had a chance to have a good "play around" with JS2 and can't find any way of just "turning" percussion on and/or off. You know like in JS1 you could turn on percussion and get shaker/tambourine etc. really easily....
So I pick the style and drummer that gets me the best drum pattern for my project but I can't get any percussion....

The only way I can see is I'd have to pick a style which has percussion in it and let JS2 "compose" the percussion with the groove....but that doesn't get me a rhythm I like...

Am I missing something?? (I bet I am!!!) It was so easy in JS1 to add a percussion track, surely it's just as easy in JS2 and I just can't "see the wood for the trees".....

Cheers

Chris

Percussion must be hand-edited at this time if the specific style does not provide it. We will improve this situation soon...

Thanks for the reply Ralph.

I realise how busy you must be at the moment, so your responses on the forum are even more appreciated. Very Happy

Hope you are finding time to get some sleep between all the hotfix and forum stuff. Wink

Cheers.

FYI: the next hotfix will add an 'Add' submenu to the brain menu that let's you add certain elements to whatever style you've got loaded, including a basic shaker, cowbell and tambourine.

2.0.17 is now out with the new 'Add' submenu so you can add percussion elements to any style you want.

Hi I seem to be blind, found the snare ghosts but no "add knob" for percussion... can you maybe post a screenshot or describe it for slowbrains please?

Click the brain menu icon at the lightbulb, select 'Add' and then 'Add Shaker', 'Add Cowbell' etc.

It was there one minute...and then it was gone. The "Brain" menu that is. Restarted the project and now it's back again... Confused

Hi Ralph, after using the Screenshots in the Manual for help, I found out, I am not blind, the little "menu -triangle" below the lightbulb is away even when I restart or reload the 2.0.17a Version, and I remember in the older Version the Menu was visible and accesible.
For your bugfix info:
I use the latest Cubase 4
