When I sart without loading any style so starting from scratch the brain menu dissappears and never appears again even if I load a style or a drummer model.I have to use the quick start and change the settings afterwards. It is not a big deal but I wanted to let you know.

I had my first real play with hotfix 17 yesterday. I too had several instances of the brain not repainting. e.g click on style in a song part:
double click a style: style loads but brain doesn't re-paint. It only re-painted whn I started teh host [ Reaper] playing.

I think we have two separate issues here but correct me if I'm wrong:
Burak seems to be talking about the brain menu icon underneath the light bulb. This is a known issue that will be fixed in the next update.
Graham, you seem to be talking abou the whole brain display not repainting, right? What host is this with? _________________ Ralph Zeuner

Sorry, my fault I thought Burak meant the Brain Elements: yes, its the brain syle elements that don't get repainted .. I'll be able to see if I can recreate it in a while: have to cut the grass first.
I haven't used JS since I last logged off: would the rzdlog be of any use ?
Which host ..... the clue was in the sentence: "It only re-painted whn I started the host [ Reaper] playing."
REAPER !
