I've never quite gotten the knack of using JS with BFD. I want to know how to do two things in Cubase:
1) Set up a jam with AudioM8, with JS2 playing BFD kits;
2) How do I export a complete jam MIDI file so that Cubase will "read" it properly and play the correct BFD kit pieces when I set Cubase MIDI track output to BFD?
I assume I load both BFD and Jamstix 2 into the VST instrument rack, but step by step how do I then go about doing the above (If #1 is in a .pdf manual, please just direct me there and I'll read it
Thanks! |

- got to MIXER and check "MIDI Out Only"
- go to KIT and load a BFD kit
- add a MIDI track in the host with input=Jamstix 2 and output=BFD
You can now use JS2 and it will use the BFD sounds. If you need an export, drag the SONG label (or part name or bar icon) to the host. It will be in BFD format. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

| Ralph, you are incredible. Thank you. I cannot believe you are in the middle of a rollout of a major release and STILL answering support queries within 2 hours. Unreal. |
