I want to export a midi file of my song from JS2. But...where is the export button. I read in the manual that I should be looking at the mixer but there is no export button there.

Where exactly did you read that in the manual ? Can't find it atm.
I always use drag'n'drop to export bars, parts or complete songs to my host or to Windows Exploder. Quick and a no-brainer.

munmun, you can either click on a bar and drag it to your host, or click on the word "song" on the song sheet and drag that to your host, depending on if you want to create a midi file of one bar or of your whole song.

Hope that helps!

ProfRhino: Windows Exploder? Classic typo!

Thanks a lot! I have noticed that when I drag the song over, some bars can be blank. Is this a bug?

Did you play the song through completely at least once before exporting ?
