How do you record Jamstix MIDI-Out on a MIDI track in Live?
Thanks!

Hi Ralph.I have the same problem as Arzuaga has .I thought I'd try out Ableton live 4 instead of Sonar for a change.It loads audio m8 straight away, interestingly giving a lot better audio signal than Sonar ;good.I then go and put Jamstix into insert 2 It begins to load all the stuff and then stops,each time when "creating accents" message shows).I have to go into Task manager and end programme,luss getting out of Ableton Live.If I then go back into Ableton Live and install audio m8 Iget no audio signal and "creating accents" message shows in jamstix when I check that in insert 2.I reboot ,go into Ableton, load audio m8 and get audio signal again but when I install Jamstix to 2 it stops at "creating accents" message again.I've tried it 3 times, each time crashing.I have Directixer 2.5 for Sonar and everything work fine,so I can't get my head around where the problem is.

Hmm...I'm not a Live user but you should load Jamstix into a MIDI track not as an Insert. Works great for me here.

Emptysound and Philr, you guys seem to have JS run fine in Live. Any pointers on what the problem for Steve B and Arzuaga might be?

Here' s one thing that may help us research it. Add this line:

Logging=1

to the [General] section of your jamstix.ini file and then open Live and load Jamstix. You should now have a file 'rzdlog.txt' in your Jamstix folder, which will contain debug info. Please send it to support@rayzoon.com

This is not Jamstix 1.2. Please update to X4-1 and try again:

Steve,
Please ignore the message about using X4-1. I want you to test this special Build. If it doesn't work, send me the log:

http://66.235.201.50/updates/jamstix1623.zip

Thanks!

I ALSO HAD TO GO BACK TO.DLL (19 04 05) The velocity froze again, unlocking or locking made no difference.
