"I am about to give up trying to get Jamstix DEMO to output to DFH Superior.

The only thing that consistently works is the kick drum. Is a restriction of the demo??

The initialization message "Midi outputs and Export sets all notes to kick notes" !

Is this the reason it (DEMO) does not work with DFH-S??

If I change the DLL to 'drummer' from DFH it still uses the JS2 kit and if I set it input=js2 and out=drummer (dfh-s) it still doesn't work right (only js2 sounds) and the bass drum seems to double up!

If I match the mappings to DFH-S it still uses the js2 kits.

This is a pain!

If I set it to midi only in js2 than I lose everthing! (sounds)

My host is Cubse 4

The subhost is DFH-s

I have the latest version of the demo.


when I rt click on the drum I get the 'sample file name' screen

my options are:
no sound
sub sampler -which says dfh sampler
and the js2 drum listing

it says dfh sub sampler. it does not show a drummer.dll file in that screen.

It does list dfh sampler for evey drum

the only light that lights up in dfh is the kick.


I made the mappings match. The drum kick seems to work which is why I think it is the demo. when I choose js2 in and druumer out is sounds ike chaos-so that possibly everthing is getting mapped to the kick

If that is the case they should say that the demo does not work with an external vst".

Hi Jim,
As the notice states: MIDI export and output are limited to kick only. So using a MIDI track outside of JS2 demo to route to DFHS will not work, since it requires MIDI output.

However, loading the 'DFHS Sonor Kit -TPC16' mapping that comes with the JS2 demo works fine.

Let me know if you any trouble with that function.
