This slider controls the overall position of Jamstix time in relation to the host’s time. If the
slider is centered, they are both perfectly in synch. If the slider is further left, Jamstix will be
ahead of the host and vice versa the right area will cause Jamstix to fall behind the host.
But the mouseover in jamstix 2 says the opposite?
Controls the overall timing of the beat. LEFT=Behingd the beat. RIGHT=Ahead of the beat. |

The GUI is right and manual must be fixed. Left=behind, right=ahead. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

Do you know those bridges than can open and close whenever a boat needs to pass? Well, if the bridge is open, is it open for you or closed for you...? It depends on how you look at it! I have to say I have the same confusion with this description. Maybe it is an idea to change the terms: when the slider is to the left the drummer will play BEFORE the beat, and when the slider is to the right he will play AFTER the beat. With 'behind' I tend to think that the beats comes and behind it will be the drummer. And with 'ahead' I think the drummer will come first: he is ahead. Know what I mean?
Sometimes I can make simple things quite confusing... |
