Zauni,
Thank you. I thought I was going crazy! Sorry I didn't mention Chainer was in stand-alone mode. My bad!

ah great idea .... and now it all makes perfect sense.

...and right on about Chainer in standalone mode... it is a handy and fast vsti host in which I often run tests and practise sessions...

I'm getting a symptom where when I load JS and set up a keyword jam, then close JS, then re-open it (all in the same session), the keyword list and my keyword choice are gone. Hosts: Tracktion 1.6, Samplitude 7&8, n-Track 4.05.

Also I mentioned this in another thread but the audio jam seems to not be causing the velocity slider to move. The AudioM8 meter is moving, the JS audio in LED is on, the audio in knob is full clockwise, but the velocity slider stays hard left. Same hosts as above. Don't know if I'm doing something wrong?

We'll be looking into it...

New info on the audio in issue. When I tried sliding the "smooth audio", the velocity slider began to work properly in response to the audio in. It was initially set hard low. I set it back to hard low and it still works.

[edit] so this may have been something from a previous update since I've been flipping back and forth between several .dll's the last couple of days?

This will be fixed in the next update.

I just updated the links in the first post to a new Build. Please try it and report any bugs you may find.

Also, there are now so many changes under the hood that the next release will be Jamstix 1.1 and not 1.03.

Hi Ralph,

This is such a fun piece of software!

In the latest manual release, Page 19 of 43, the paragraph on "Allow Reduction" is repeated twice. The paragraph on "Shuffle" is between the repeated paragraphs. Just thought you'd want to know... Very Happy

Go version 1.1!!!!!!

We found another bug and have just updated the links again. The bug would cause the velocity to drop to zero when using MIDI input with the input trim being higher than middle position and playing hard.

Hi Ralph,
The latest release, 4/17, still won't reset to bar 1 in Chainer stand-alone. I wonder if there's something I need to set in Chainer. Sorry to keep bothering you with this. Thank you for your great cust. support!

This stuff is just wild. Just a few days ago I did not see any barstartpos info being sent by Chainer SA and the 1.03 did the RTZ just fine. Today I check it and Chainer SA sends barstartpos, which defeats the RTZ fix. I must have been in a parallel universe Smile

This will be fixed in the 1.1 but here's a quick update for you to check:

Thanks for the catch!

Jamstix doesn't seem to save the settings for ConcreteFX Granite V3.0 - when I look at Granite hosted by Jamstix, it's reverted to the default empty presets.

If I load Granite directly into my host, it remembers the settings I loaded.

The host is FL Studio 5.02

I tried Jamstix 1.03c, same result.

Pete

At the moment, Jamstix only saves chunk data, not preset data, of a loaded VSTi. That's because "bigger" modules use chunks only.

For now I'd recommend using MIDI-Out with such modules.
