If I have a 8 bar layout an play around with the randomixe brain button on bar 6 and then find that that was not so good. The thing I try is:
1. Clear bar 6
2. Copy bar 5 to bar 6
Whar happend then is that all the beats from bar 5 are there but the randomized settings was not overwritten with the setting from bar 5, so I'm back where I started, what do I do wrong? Also if I right click on a bar and then goes to "Locking events" and select "Unlock all events" JS dosent seem to get that, it allways goes back to "Lock manually created events" is that a bug or is it just me |

I'm a bit confused by your questions. I think I can clear the last one. The locking/unlocking functions simply lock and unlock all bar events. Simple as that. The 'Lock Manually Placed Events' is just a default that determines what happens when you manually create a note.
Concerning the first question, can you elaborate a bit on what you are trying to accomplish exactly? _________________ Ralph Zeuner

I think he means he randomized the Brain while in bar 6, but doesn't like the effect. He was hoping that if he copied bar 5 to bar 6 the Brain of bar 5 would also be copied to bar 6. In other words: the Brain would have been reset by doing that. But the Brain at bar 6 was still the randomized Brain he didn't like.
I don't think it works this way. (I can't check it right now because I am not behind my DAW.) I think you will have to select the drummer once again (even if it is the same one) to reset the Brain because (AFAIK) the Brain and drummer are related. But I am not too sure...
Anyway, the question is: how can he (and we ) reset the Brain if we don't like the randomized settings (or our own manual changes)? |

| J van E is correct, I tought/would like that when copy bar 5 the brain setting from bar 5 would be past on to bar 6 as well and there by clear my crappy brain settings in bar 6. |

The brain is the same for the whole part. If you need a reset, you must click on style and drummer and reload them. _________________ Ralph Zeuner
