Hi-
Is there a way to do this? Say I want to use some of the Latin Percussion sounds along with Nashville as the basic kit. If it's in the manual, feel free to just point me to the right page...!
Thanks-

JS2 can only load one VSTi plugin at a time so you'd have to look into the EZD manual to see if it can mix&match within itself. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

Hi Ralph-
That's what I thought. EZD doesn't provide for that. I need to figure out how to route JS2's output to multiple VSTis in SONAR 6.2.1, then. Is that possible?
Thanks-

Sure. Assign a different MIDI channel to the percussion sounds in JS2 and then use 2 MIDI tracks in Sonar with input=JS2 and output=your VSTis. Set the input channel filters of Sonar on those tracks accordingly. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

Ok, I'll try that next chance. I'm not sure what you mean by "input channel filters", but I'll figure it out.
Thanks-

Hi Ralph-
Here's what I've tried:
I'm not using JS2's subhosting. The Mixer is set to MIDI Only, the kit is EZDrummer.
I set up 2 instances of EZDrummer in SONAR, one with the Nashville kit and the other with Latin Percussion.
I set the MIDI Track ins/outs as follows:
- Nashville: Input=JS2 Ch.1, Output=EZDrummer1
- Latin Percussion: Input=JS2 Ch. 2, Output=EZDrummer2
I changed the Channels on JS2's Percussion page to output all instruments to CH 2.
Result: All of the JS output still goes to Ch 1 (the Nashville kit)
What am I doing wrong?
Thanks-

You did everything right and JS2....didn't. It's a bug and will be fixed today. I'll send you a test Build as soon as I have it. _________________ Ralph Zeuner
