|
|
Bought the full version yesterday and I'm loving it so far, there's just a couple of things slightly bugging me so far. Is there a setting for fill frequency like in JS1? I can't find it anywhere.......and during jams it seems to just generate fills every 8 bars. On that note, how do I make a bar contain a fill? Also, is there a way of copying to more than 1 bar at once? When I get a rhythm I like in jam mode I have to copy it to each bar individually. Like I said though, loving it so far! |

Hi spacetrucker
You can change fill frequency by changing the bar numbers between 8, 4 or 2 etc in the song sheet.
You can select a bar, select Fill in Brain control, then the recompose function. That places a fill in the selected bar _________________ john-studio64

Each part has two LEDs in the song sheet for fills. The T-Fill (transition) will play a fill when the part ends, the R-Fill (repetition) plays a fill before every part repetition (i.e. every 8 bars if the part is 8 bars long)

Go to the bar, click FILL in the brain and click COMP.

Try this: when you have a groove you like in the bar editor, choose 'Save Bar' in the bar editor menu and give it some name. Now load the 'Import' style into the part and in the brain click 'JS2 Groove' and then click on <click to load> and select your saved groove.
JS2 will no use your groove as a style and auto-copy it to other bars for you but also still vary accents etc. based on the selected drummer model. _________________ Ralph Zeuner
