Thanks for the headsup Ralph.

I'm just upgrading to 2.x now.

Going to test it tomorrow with dfhS.

The Samp 'Window' option is not needed for Jamstix 2.0.9 and up. We modified the code so this wouldn't be affected anymore.

uh-oh, major crash.
I had JS2 loaded just fine, tried to map to dfhS and Samplitude crashed.

I also am having problems getting Jamstix to jam along with a MIDI file.

It all WAS working, but has now suddenly gone unstable.

I'm sending you Ralph the error file.

Is that with 2.0.11?

Only 2.0.11 counts now due its many fixes so errors with previous versions are now irrelevant for our process.

Same here Ralph,

With JS 2.012 now, Sam Pro 9.1 needs the "Keep FX dialogue on top" option checked again, otherwise major crash happens whenever trying to edit the song parts - styles, drummers etc. Everything is greyed out.

Even with FX dialogue on top option checked, graphics suffer when editing, as the JS gui turns mostly white. There is a workaround to this, by clicking either on the QUICKSTART tab, then cancelling, or by clicking on the KIT tab, then back again. GUI will now be back to normal. Clicking on the Jamstix 2 header, to get to the "about" screen, turns gui almost completely white. Very strange...

Cheers,
Gary

Thanks Ralph,

All ok in Sam Pro 9.1 UI now. 2.012c works, as does 2.013.

Cheers, well done, thanks for the quick response!

I'm going to be testing it in Samplitude V10 beta tomorrow and will keep everyone posted.

Last time I tried it I didn't have much luck.

Hi,

I'm on Samplitude 10, but the same problem with vers. 9:
I open a new vip (project), load JS2, load a song > everything plays as it should. I store the vip and shut it down. After reloading, everything looks the same, but no sound of the snares and kicks. Strangely this happens only in the core bars! In the fills they play. Even when I move the mouse over the symbols in the bars they play. But not with the song. The master volume is not down. No difference whether I use JS-kits or dfhs.

Best,

Johannes

Make sure the song power knob is not all the way down.

I am still not able to send midi data from jamstix to my Indiependance sampler.

I exactly followed the steps from Sam's video, but there is still no midi data coming into the Sampler

Do have an idea?

Hi Ralph

I've tried a new beta in Samplitude 10 pro and seems it works until I haven't changed the current cursor position. After that I got dead silence. When I saved a song and reopened Samp - everything was o.k. ( till I change the c c pos. again Sad )

I'm pretty new in Samp 10 pro ( I'm testing it for WSM ) so I can't tell you if that is a Samp or Jamstix problem.

otherwise it works well in Cubase SE 3.
