|
|
Hi Ralph
can you tell me how and what notes are moved, when I use the shuffleparameter for
8th or/and for 16th?
I mean is the degree from 0 % to 100 % linear and what value has a 8th note and a 16th note with 100% or the values between 0 and 100% e. g. 50%
Background:
wanna assimilate the Parameter in the Quantisation settings in Cubase4 and in Virtual Guitarist 2, so I need info about the exact effect in ticks or whatever...
Greetings from Germany

8th notes are moved from 0 to 0.1666666666 PPQ (linear 0-100%)
16th notes are moved from 0 to 0.0833333333 PPQ (linear 0-100%) _________________ Ralph Zeuner

have I understood it all:
My Seq for example works with 960 ppq that is equivalent to 480pp8th.
So the second 8th in a bar that starts normally at position 1.1.481 and with use of shuffle parameter at 100% it starts at 481 + (481x0,166666)= 561,1666?

No, if your seq is at 960 ticks per quarter then the note gets moved 960x0.166666 ticks. _________________ Ralph Zeuner
