I'm having some problems with Live Loops and Jamstix 2.0.9.
I have a song based on 2 parts, each part consisting of 4 bars and 1 repetition. I have Live Loops switched on. After I hit play in Cubase SL 2, it starts playing nicely, but when it finishes part 1 it jumps to part 2. After it ends playing part 2, there is no beat anymore.
Furthermore, when I send the Program Change midi event I see the midi LED blink and can briefly see part 1 lighting up, but immediately afterwards it jumps back to part 2.
Am I missing something?

Gonna look into it but generally you want to trigger a part before the song runs out. Once a part is triggered it should repeat endlessly until the next part is triggered. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

Ah, I understand. In my case, as I use JS a lot during jamsessions without any 'prearrangements' and I do everything on the spot, I should setup JS with a default first part with 1 bar only that acts as a fake intro part, have it empty (or just 4 sticks) but with enough repetitions (and thus time) for me to switch to the real first part via the live loop program trigger.
Example Jamsession
- Fake Intro (1 bar, empty/just sticks, 100 reps)
- Jam Part 1 (8 bars, 1 rep)
- Jam Part 2 (8 bars, 1 rep)
- Jam Part 3 (4 bars, 1 rep)
- Etc |
