Hi Ralph - well that was the week that was - Quite a learning curve for us all but it's really settling down now - at this end at least.
Getting more familiar with J2 and can really feel how versatile it is. Wonderful - Thanks
How about an option to save the changes made to a particular drummer.(Feel Accents and Fill options)
Maybe you could save Charlie*Busy or Charlie*laid back etc etc.
One or two other points:-
Regarding Fills -
1)
If I select a part and change the Fill length (Transition and Repetition parameters- Usually shorten them) and then return to zero - these two parameters change back to their default positions. Other changes made in the fill section remain as changed. When I play the part these parameters can be changed live and work very well but that's not how I want to work. Any ideas?
2) I have a fill I like - the right drum in the right place but I want to change the power profile but keep the same fill. When I try this J2 recomposes a new fill. I know I could manually edit the fill and lock it but I'm spoilt and lazy and I want Jamstix to do it Maybe an update existing fill button as well as a recompose button
3) Can you expand A little on what exactly the modulation setting does? I know it creates some very usable fills but what's going on inside
4) The Transition and repitition length parameters are in percentages and I've noticed that they don't always correspond - I mean a length of 50% invariably fills the bar. I tend to have to set it below 10% to create a fill in the last quater of the bar. Couldn't the parameters correspond the bar measure etc
Thanks for bearing with me Ralph as this topic is longer than I intended.
Hope you will be able to extend your exellent support to me as well

Planned for a future update. We couldn't get it into the 2.0 release in timne.

If you return to zero you likely change to a different part so the fill display changes since every part has its own fill settings.

It's on the list but things got so complex and time was of the essence so this has to wait a bit.

The short explanation is: it is a way to change velocities across fill substructures. I'm too worn out for the long explanation...

They are in absolute beats now but I'm hoping to change this to percentages soon. _________________ Ralph Zeuner
