| In JS2 2.0.6, when the loop mode in the bar editor is activated, the sound dims for about 1 second exactly every 30 seconds when I use Battery 3 as a subhosted VSTi. The internal sounds do not do this. Is this a demo feature not removed in the final release? |

What host is that with? Could you use 'Save Song' to send us a file to replicate this situations? If so, also tell us the bar # that you are looping. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

| I'm using Bidule 0.95 with the JS2-included Battery Soul Kit preset. I set it into Jam with MIDI mode with an arbitrary style and drummer and start the midi sync in the host to let JS2 create a rhythm. At an arbitrary point, I activate the bar looper in the bar editor and let one bar repeat ad infinitum. Every 30 seconds exactly, the sound falls out briefly almost as if it were a demo feature which briefly interrupts the sound with a quick fade-out and fade-in. |

I tried to repeat the problem in SAVIHost, but it locked my computer up twice -- hard. I had to power off without shutting down first. I don't blame this on JS2. I'm having problems with M-Audio's drivers, like thousands of others.
If you can't attribute the audio fall-off to a demo feature, then blame it on my drivers. It was just an anomaly about a feature that I won't be using often anyway. I have a report to write tonight, so I can't continue troubleshooting now. If the problem persists after I have time to reinstall all my audio drivers, I'll let you know.
Thanks. |

Yes, it's definitely not a left-over demo thing in JS2. Have been trying to replicate this here but have been unsuccessful. Let me know what you find. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

| After rebooting a couple of times, the problem is gone. I think I have serious audio driver problems. I won't report any more errors until I'm sure my own house is in order. Sorry for the trouble, again. |
