Hi Ralph and team,

JS2 is working fine in Sam pro v8, but on opening in version 9, the JS quickstart screen isn't showing, everything is greyed out and I'm not able to click anywhere within the host or JS. The only way out is the control alt delete scenario, which crashes my pc to the BSOD. The J wizard logo shows in the taskbar, but there is no access to it.

By the way, my installation of JS2 is also working in Cubase SX2...

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks,
Gary

Just posted a note about this in the Samplitube thread.

make sure that in the Samp9 "Options", "Keep dialogs always up" (or similar) is NOT checked. Otherwise the Wizard will open during JS2 load but not be accessible so you cannot proceed.

Thanks Ralph,

That did the trick. If any other Sam 9 users are here, the option is under System - Program - General - Program Settings - "Keep FX Dialogs on top"
As Ralph said, make sure that this option is UNCHECKED.

Thanks again,
Gary

Jamstix 2.0.7 should make this unnecessary because the quickstart window is no longer a separate window.

Hi Ralph ,
I'm using Samp 9.1.1 and when I put the new 2.0.7 dll in the VstPlugIns folder upon opening Samp I get a message saying that the JS data can't be found . Even after selecting the data folder it still refuses to recognise it . I had to revert to the original install dll .

Regards
Kraznet
