I am using beta 2.06.

If I load a Style, the event icons within the bar editor are visibly apparent. However, if i manually place drum notes within the Bar Editor, the event icons are very dim. I thought it may have to do with velocity where the harder the velocity, the more prominent the icon appears but adjusting the velocity has no affect.

This happens when the bar is not composed, yet. Two ways to get rid of this:

a) Hit the trash can icon. This clears the bar and sets it to composed status

or

b) Check Bar editor menu->locking->Lock Manually Created Events
