Please download from your download page (Jamstix 2 Beta) and replace your current jamstix2.dll with this one.

If you get any crashes or errors with 2.0.4, please send me a mail with a brief description and attach your rzdlog.txt file from your Jamstix2 folder.

Version 2.0.4 8/21/2007

  • fixed error when clicking OK in MIDI Import screen without selecting a MID file
  • fixed problem when trying to use more than 10 parts
  • non-admin XP mode is now supported by adding NonAdmin=1 to [General] section of the jamstix2.ini file
  • added 'MIDI Play In Jam' option to be able to trigger drum sounds even in jam mode
  • various minor fixes

Version 2.0.2 8/21/2007

  • attempted fix of Cubase crashing that some users experience

Version 2.0.1 8/20/2007

  • added 'MIDI Output' option
  • fixed limited tom and cymbal usage with external VSTi
  • fixed external VSTi edit window being moved back when mouse moved over JS2 interface
  • fixed missing sound in FL Studio due to improper end-of-loop data sent by FLS

Hi Ralph

Just letting you know that 2.04 locks up Reaper here when you initialze it. The quickstart menu doesnt come up and everything freezes. Funnily enough the original release was fine, but when I reinstall back to that version the lockup is still there?

Cheers
Jed

@Jed,

I'm using Reaper as well (1.888) and Jamstix 2 beta 2.0.4 is working just fine here.

Hmm OK well then my question new is how do you reset JX2 as something has got corrupted. I have completely reinstalled JX2 and deleted the ini file but tbe problem is still there?

Cheers
Jed

EDIT : After reading bvesco's post I deleted the Reaper.ini and rebooted (so that it re-created itself). Everything seems fine now - excellent job by the way Ralph!

Is there a rzdlog.txt file in the Jamstix 2 folder that you can send to me?
Also, please make 100% certain that Nuendo is using the new DLL and not a copy of the original release. Finally, is the crash immediate when you load JS2?

I'm not kid deluxe, but I AM experiencing an immediate crash when loading J2 in Nuendo 3.x. No messages, just an immediate closing of Nuendo. I've been able to run J2 in Reaper and Chainer, so it does work on the system just not in Nuendo 3.x.

Thanks.

Can I send a test Build to your forum e-mail address?
