If I noticed correctly JS2 adds accents even with "silent" style and drummer. I think this shoul not be.

Sounds like the fills. Is the bar green in the timeline when you hear the notes? If so, uncheck the FILLS boxes for the part and the whole part should be as silent as can be.

I was quite sure that it were accents and not fills as I had chosen "accent" in the brain controls. Then there were some single tom and cymbal hits visible in the bar editor (and audible of course).
But now I couldn't reproduce it. So it may have been my fault.

But now I had other problems. Reaper showed me several times an error message (see attachement) that appeared when I wanted to click in the bar editor. I had to close Reaper and restart it, otherwise there was the same error every time I tried to click in the cell where it first appeared.

And now my programmed grooves were deleted, they were overwritten with nothing, except when I locked the bars. Style und drummer model were both set to silent.
Probably it's an user error but I couldn't figure it out.

I have to admit that I have some problem to get used to JS2. If I let JS do the work it's ok, but I can't really figure out how to program grooves and let JS just add small variations and fills. I hope for more videos or a tutorial or something.

Once the release madness subsides we will have time to make hand editing easier in JS2.

Please download the 2.0.2. hotfix from your downloads page and see if it cures your problems. Also, if you still get the error in REAPER, please take a screenshot right before you'd get the error by clicking on the bar editor and send it me.

Thanks!

That same error message happen for me too in Cubase 4 and I had to "ctrl" "alt" "delete" and shut down Cubase 4 because it would just display that message over and over and over. This is a showstopper for me. Any word on when this might get fixed?

We're working hard on fixing any main issues as quickly as we can. Did 2.0.2 fix your problem? If not, please send us the file rzdlog.txt from your jamstix 2 folder.

I too am finding unwanted notes are added. In my case it is a snare bounce. Accent settings are set to their minimum. It seems to be on 4:3 of every 2nd bar ??

I get that with both "Roger" and "Phil" playing 8th Rock. I guess it could actually be part of the groove??

The bounce doesn't always show up in the bar editor, although that probably relates to the other issue I mentioned elsewhere where the bar contents are often display empty.

'Phil' will add snare bounces if "Buzzing" is not all the way left in the Accents panel.

See what issues you have left with 2.0.6 , which will be out later tonight. Let me know how it goes...
