|
|
after installation of Jamstix 2 and and Cubase 4 the first time I was asked to input user name and licence key. I have got some problems with that.
It did not take it and stopped the Cubase execusion.
Now I can Cubase 4 (or SX3) and always if I try to open jamstix 2 the system is crashing. Jamstix 1 is still ok.
In between I have deinstalled and reinstalled jamstix2 with the same "crashing effect". I am just wondering that after deinstall/reinstall I was never asked again for my user name and and a licence key.
What I am doing wrong ??? |

HI Ralph,
The exe file is running well but if I launch Jamstix 2 in either Cubase SX3 or Cubase 4 the applications are closed immediately wihin a second. Jamstix 1 is working as always.
As a backround info - I am working with a MOTU HD192 system clocked externally by an Isochrone OCX. I have now tried 44,1khz and 48khz - both internal and external clocking - nothing improved.
Also I have a PCI TC Powercore, PCIe UAD and Firewire Duenede in my AMD 64X2 4400+ PC with an ASUS (nforce4 chip) motherboard. What else ?
Any more idea ? |

I've just sent you a new with a new test. Let's continue working on this via e-mail and we'll post the solution here when we're done.

H. I have Cubase 4 and Cubase sx3 installed on xp pro.
Same story here kinda; Jamstix 1 works fine but after installing Jamstix 2 exe,(didnt ask for password btw), Cubase 4's vst instruments' doesnt see jamstix2, and if i try opening cubase sx3, on sx3 program start up, sx3 crashes when it trys to load jamstix2.
I uninsatalled jamstix 2 and cubase sx3 opens up fine again (definetely a pluggin issue)----(im spyware/virus/registry clean and only recently reformatted my pc)
Gigapulse vst wont load in cubase 4 but theres a get around somewhere on google...I beleive this could be why....Perhaps this is the same for jamstix. That would explain why it cant be SEEN from insides cubase4's vst instrument window. (some text adjusts to the script or something)---im so untechnical

Same here. Problem looks like solved.
Before 2.0.2 in one project Cubase would close down and disappear when I tried to insert JS2 as an instrument. Haven't seen that since. So the "attempt at fixing ...." seems to work in my case. |

There will be more stability fixes in 2.0.6 later tonight. I won't rest until all of these crashes/error messages are gone... _________________ Ralph Zeuner

Sleep is highly overrated...
2.0.6 is out and if anyone has crashes or error messages with that one, please let me know and send me the log. _________________ Ralph Zeuner
