ok, getting the hang of it but have a couple of things I'm still unsure about.
1. In JS1 you could set how to do fills on an x bar basis...every bar, every 2nd bar etc etc. How do you do this in JS2? You have the fill types in song mode and Length parms in Brain/Fill, but I cannot see where you control the frequency of fills directly.
2. It looks like "Save song" now saves the shuffle settings which always pained me to remember in JS1. However, none of the quickstart shuffle type songs have the shuffle settings [8th/16th and shuffle slider] set at all. I'm a little confused and am assuming that these need to be set for a shuffle to sound like a shuffle. Am I missing something?
3. I don't understand the relationship between Part Length/# bars and the bar display edit area. Whatever I change the part length/#bars to the bar display remains locked at what looks like 4 beats. Could you clarify how this works a little more clearly please!
ty for the cool tool!

Hi sonicviz
1. You can change fill frequency by changing the bar numbers between 8, 4 or 2 in the song sheet. You can also add fills where you like by right clicking in the actual bar to load or import fill.
2.The shuffle thing, The Shuffle styles are already shuffle. The shuffle slider is for if you want to change a non shuffle style to shuffle. I think that is the case, not 100% but give it a try.
3. Don't quite understand

ty for the reply.
1. I see now. It's the relationship between # bars and the Fill R/T that determines it.
2. Ah, I was assuming that ALL shuffles needed the shuffles settings turned on. Bit confusing that.
3. Either do I! I think I'm just trying to get my head around the fixed length pattern editor I guess.
