We had a few user reporting that they lost their arrangement when opening a saved project. We researched this and believe this is the cause:

When you save a project with Jamstix in Free Jam, the next you open the project, the arrangement will be reset. We will have a fix for this shortly. Until then please make sure to save a project whose arrangement you want to keep with Jamstix always in Manual Jam mode.

how is this fix coming? I wonder if we could have a way to save and load arrangements? Wouldn't that help?

It has been fixed since X2-7.

You can save arrangements via 'Load/Save Bank' of your host.
