Just wondering.....what does a01,a02...ect, c01, co2...ect., and x1, x2 signify in the sample file names. Do drum maps for BFD, and DFH loaded in JS have the same nuances as the original JS sample sets? ie. soft hits, and hard hits.

Example: a03x2 means ambience sample velocity layer 3, alternate hit 2.
a=ambience stereo
c=close mono
s=close stereo
BFD has many velocity layers but no alternate hits (AFAIK). Every product has its own approach. Jamstix simply 'drives' them via MIDI when it subhosts them. _________________ Ralph Zeuner
