Hi

I am using jamstix with Reaper with my laptop(Inspiron E1505 1GB Memory).I know my way around jamstix pretty good.I have this same set up on my other computer also (Desktop).The problem is that i can not get the drum sounds to trigger in my laptop.I have tryed loading 16th rock for the arrangement and i load the intro (Just another intro) on the second bar.When i play this arrangement I do get one hit on the drum of the intro but the rest of the arrangement is blank and no sound plays.In the arrangement window i have highlighted the use arrangement and have tryed it with out this highlighted.It says sounds are being generated by jamstix and when i play my guitar it says it is recieving thr audio signal.I have had the problem before and got it working but, i never did fugure out how i fix it i just pressed enough button and it started to work(i know "poor excuse",but that how i got it to worked).I am also wondering if there is something i am not turning on in Reaper.,but as i said i have it working on my other computer with reaper.I am going to post the same thread over at Reaper.thanks for the help guys

Do the bar/beat counters in Jamstix match the REAPER counters?

Does moving the velocity slider in Jamstix to the right and locking it (with the lock symbol) help?

I am not sure what you mean by this Ralph.I see the beat and bar counter in jamstix,but were would i look for the beat/bar counter in Reaper?
As for the velocity slider in jamstix i have locked and unlocked it all the way to the right.This did not help.

I am looking a the beat and bar counter in jamstix.When i push play in reaper the beats and bar are working.I am getting four beat to a bar in jamstix it looks like.Is this right?

Please send me the file rzdlog.txt from your Jamstix folder.

I got the log. Jamstix does not see many sounds. Please make sure to installed the stock kits and expansion Paks. They need to be in this folder:

C:\Program Files\steinberg\vstplugins\jamstix\samples

Quickest way is to copy all the files from the 'samples' folder of your other, working computer into this folder.

Sorry for the spelling mistakes in my last post,but Jamstix is working great again.I did what you said and all is working great again.I have gone thought three days of madness trying everthing.I guess we just don,t thing of all are options sometimes.I should have wrote the forum days ago.I sure am glad to get back to the music.Thank again i am very glad to be up and running again.
