It's been a while since i've updated, and I've been working on my desktop DAW. I am abou to go out of town and want to work on my laptop when I am away. It looks like i have 1.71 installed to update to 1.81 do I just download it and replace the .dll file, or are ther any steps in between 1.71 and 1.81 that I need to follow?

Simply run the jamstix_update.exe of 1.81 .
No further steps necessary.
